Checking In On Charlie Kirk
From a total 180 on support for war with Iran to degrading a 14-year-old girl in front of a crowd, Charlie has been busy… this is what he's up to...
“Get an MRS Degree.”
That’s what Charlie Kirk told a 14-year-old girl when she asked for advice about attending college.
At one of Turning Point’s Young Women's Leadership Summits, a 14-year-old girl got her big chance to ask Charlie Kirk for advice on attending college, especially regarding her goal of becoming a political journalist. Kirk advocated a different path – finding a husband. Kirk, who dropped out of college, gave advice straight out of the 1950s.

This type of rhetoric certainly isn’t new from TPUSA, but this moment from Charlie Kirk is a reminder of just how central retrograde misogyny is to their theory of political and cultural change. And just as a reminder:
TPUSA has a robust staffing pipeline in colleges and high schools - apparently this is the content they are promoting to mold young minds. Yet they aren’t just focused on transmitting bigoted ideology, TPUSA is also working to influence youth culture writ large, going so far as to promote dating.
In other news – just a few weeks ago, it seemed that some Turning Point leaders were considering defecting from Trump, holding to their confessed “no forever wars” rhetoric. Here is what they said in the lead-up:
However, like clockwork, once Trump decided to bomb Iran, Charlie Kirk and the larger TPUSA apparatus fell in line.
The propaganda Charlie Kirk is pushing is helping enable Trump’s authoritarianism. It’s likely that Kirk is shifting the boundaries of acceptable political speech, using incessant rhetoric that many would consider to be deeply racist and misogynistic. From this latest example, we see that he will change what he is saying on a dime to seemingly avoid going against Trump’s position, demonstrating that his beliefs likely aren’t coming from deeply held principles.
